“Our law enforcement agencies continue to rally against this so-called bail reform. This dangerous legislation needs to be repealed now,” said Assemblyman Joe DeStefano (R,C,I,Ref-Medford). “Jordan Randolph, a resident of my district, was released under the new laws after killing a man while driving drunk. Randolph is now bragging to authorities that he’ll be released under bail reform. Where is the justice? Action needs to be taken now. I was proud to stand alongside members of the District Attorney’s Association, Sheriffs’ Association and fellow legislators in calling for the full repeal of bail reform in Albany today.”
