Dear Mr. Bellone:

I am writing to urge you to move forward with the Forge River Sewer District construction as a stand-alone effort and not let issues with other sewer projects in the county jeopardize this critical environmental initiative.

As the residents are saying, the tri-hamlet community has suffered numerous setbacks, false hopes for positive developments and “studies” that 'gathered dust on a shelf. They don’t want to lose out on a project that everyone agrees is sorely needed to serve our residents and protect the environment.

I know that protecting our natural resources by bringing these sewer projects to fruition is one of your signature issues and I support you every step of the way. If there is anything I can do to help this project along as a stand-alone effort and commence construction as soon as possible, please let me know. Thank you.

Joe DeStefano, Assemblyman
