I was truly honored to recognize six outstanding members of our community as Women of Distinction: Belinda Alvarez-Groneman, Michele LaMartina, Marcelle Leis, Christine R. Mirabelli, Joann M. Neal, and Kathleen Vigiano. They have set themselves apart through their deeds and willingness to help others. From these acts of kindness, they earned—without seeking it—recognition, praise, and gratitude from everyone whose lives they’ve touched.
Thanks go out to all who attended the recognition ceremony, including the honorees’ families; Senator Dean Murray; Legislators Dominick Thorne and Nick Caracappa; Councilman Neil Foley; and Teresa Bryant, representing County Executive Ed Romaine. Our gratitude also goes to Chief Greg Miglino and his crew at South Country Ambulance for hosting our annual Women of Distinction event.
